The Learjet 40 is derived from the Learjet 45, but with a shorter fuselage of 24.5 inches (60cm). The Learjet 40XR is an upgraded version, introduced in 2004, offering higher take-off weights and cruise speeds. With seating for up to six passengers, it can complete flights such as Chicago to San Francisco and Singapore to Hong Kong.
