Flying for a special occasion with ACS
Whether it's a small group’s once-in-a-lifetime trip around Europe or a large wedding party heading on a beach getaway before the big day, our private jet and group charter specialists go the extra mile to help enhance every special occasion.
“Flying by private jet is a special experience in itself,” says private jet senior account manager Merric Tooley (pictured left). “We take care of everything, from sourcing the right jet and organising the flight to extra little touches like Champagne on arrival.”
Similarly, our commercial jet division can take tailor-made flights for larger groups to another level. “We generally organise charters that carry more than 19 passengers,” says assistant director Marianne Irving (pictured right). “Our team can also accommodate all sorts of customisation. Just recently we organiseda private FBO, and porter service for a wedding party. The group also requested , branded deli bags, floor mats and crew scarves. We know that providing these services helps elevate the experience, so our team go above and beyond to ensure the flight is set up to the client’s unique specifications.”
“Each of our private jet charters is personalised to suit the client’s needs, starting from the moment we receive the request,” Merric continues.
“We begin by ascertaining when and where you want to fly, your budget and how many passengers are travelling. Then our team takes care of the rest, using our industry connections and expertise to source a range of private aircraft before presenting you with the best options to choose from.
“Once the aircraft is confirmed we’ll take care of all the finer details, from the flight crew to onboard catering and refreshments on arrival. We can even meet you on the ground before the flight to ensure everything is set up correctly. Our aim is to make every private charter flight special.”
“Organising a group charter begins in a similar vein,” Marianne adds. “We start by sourcing the right aircraft for the client’s unique requirements. For example, instead of breaking up a pre-wedding party of 350 people, our team in India recently sourced a Boeing 777 that was large enough to fly the entire group for a pre-wedding beach break in Egypt. It was a last-minute request and the client was thrilled they could all fly together.
“But finding the perfect aircraft only scratches the surface of what our teams can do for our clients. For special events, we’re often asked to arrange extra touches to really personalise a flight. From bespoke onboard catering to personalised menu cards and amenity kits, our Charter Concepts team works with clients to really make the flight their own.”
With offices in six continents, wherever you fly in the world there’s an ACS contact in the same time-zone ready to handle any queries that may arise.
“In terms of chartering for special occasions like weddings, our most popular destinations include Venice, Marrakech, Santorini, Tuscany and the Caribbean for the U.S.,” says Marianne. “Our teams have extensive experience in creating bespoke private jet and group charters to these locations and always source the best aircraft, at the best price, for each client’s unique needs – even at late notice.”
Venice
Built on over 100 tiny islands in an Adriatic lagoon, Venice is a unique destination that features on many travel wishlists. The city’s canals are steeped in history and romance, from gothic palaces to the mosaiced basilica on St Mark’s Square. In the summer, warmer temperatures lure those seeking a special location for a special occasion, while in February the Carnival sees streets flooded with elaborate costumes and masks.
Marrakech
The bustling hive of Marrakech is well known for its maze-like alleys, thriving souks, mosques, palaces and gardens. The former imperial city in western Morocco is also home to a plethora of high-end hotels, which are perfect for large groups looking for a VIP experience.
Santorini
People flock from around the world to this breathtaking Greek Island, where you can wander around the maze-like streets of Oia, Thera and Imerovigli before watching the sun set over the Mediterranean from the edge of the caldera. The picture-perfect architecture and dreamy vistas make this a popular and unforgettable group getaway experience.
Tuscany
Another beautiful Italian location, Tuscany’s diverse natural landscape encompasses the rugged Apennine Mountains and provides groups even more space and privacy than Santorini, along with a greater depth of history. The region is famous for its Renaissance art and architecture, including Michelangelo’s "David" statue, Botticelli’s works in the Uffizi Gallery and the Duomo basilica.
Caribbean
From the secluded U.S. Virgin Islands to the larger havens of Cuba and Puerto Rico, the Caribbean is full of idyllic destinations. Whichever you choose, you’ll find golden beaches, warm waters teeming with marine life, luxury accommodation and delicious food to match.
